M-Sport UK Limited (“M-Sport”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy applies to M-Sport and its associated company, M-Sport Poland Sp. z o.o., and explains what personal information we hold, how we collect and use it, and the rights you have over it. It covers information collected in relation to customers, suppliers and website users, including our recruitment and enquiry processes, and customers who buy cars, parts, merchandise, tours or conference facilities from us.

 

We process personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please read this policy alongside our Terms of Use.

M-Sport UK Limited is the data controller responsible for your personal information, registered in England and Wales under company number 13848917, with its registered office at Dovenby Hall Estate, Cockermouth, Cumbria, CA13 0PN, United Kingdom.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect and process the following categories of personal information:

• Enquiry and correspondence data — the content of messages you send us through our contact forms, by email or by phone.

• Financial and transaction data — bank account or payment card details relating to orders for cars, parts, merchandise, tours or conference bookings. Card payments are handled by our payment providers; we do not store full card details.

• Recruitment data — information in your CV, application and any supporting documents, including employment history and right-to-work information where a role progresses.

04 HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your personal information only where we have a lawful basis to do so. In most cases that basis is one of the following:

 

• to respond to your enquiries and provide the information, products or services you request (performance of a contract or our legitimate interests);

• to manage recruitment and consider your application for a role (taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and legitimate interests);

• to process and fulfil orders, tours and conference bookings, and to provide customer support (performance of a contract);

• to operate, maintain and improve our website and understand how it is used (legitimate interests, and consent for non-essential cookies);

• to send you updates or marketing where you have asked to receive them (consent), which you can withdraw at any time;

• to meet our legal and regulatory obligations (legal obligation).

 

05 COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

 

Our website is built on the Wix platform and uses its integrated cookies feature to manage cookies and similar technologies. This includes cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function, and functional, analytics and advertising cookies that are used only where permitted or with your consent.

• courier and delivery providers to fulfil your orders.

 

07 INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

 

We generally transfer personal information outside the United Kingdom and European Economic Area (EEA) only in limited circumstances — for example to a service provider hosted overseas. Any such transfer will always have a clear lawful basis, and we take steps to ensure the information is protected to a standard consistent with UK data protection law, using appropriate safeguards such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

 

08 HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION

 

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, including to satisfy any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Recruitment information for unsuccessful applicants is held for 12 months and then deleted, unless you have agreed that we may keep it on file for longer to consider you for future opportunities.

 

09 YOUR RIGHTS

 

Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information, including the right to:

• request access to the information we hold about you;

• ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;

• ask us to erase your information in certain circumstances;

• object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing;

• request that we transfer your information to another provider (data portability)

• withdraw your consent at any time where we rely on consent.

10 DATA SECURITY

 

We maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Access to personal information is limited to those who need it, and our staff are expected to handle it responsibly and in line with our internal policies.

 

11 CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
