MALCOLM WILSON OBE

Malcolm Wilson OBE is one of the most respected figures in international motorsport, with more than four decades of experience at the highest level of rallying. A two-time British Rally Champion, he founded Malcolm Wilson Motorsport in 1979, laying the foundations for what would become M-Sport. In 1996, the company was awarded Ford's World Rally Championship programme, establishing M-Sport as one of the world's leading motorsport organisations.

As Founder and owner, Malcolm has led M-Sport to remarkable success across both rallying and circuit racing. Under his leadership, the team has claimed three FIA World Rally Championship Manufacturers' titles in 2006, 2007 and 2017, along with back-to-back Drivers' and Co-drivers' Championships with Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia in 2017 and 2018.

CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Beyond the World Rally Championship, Malcolm has overseen a number of successful engineering and motorsport programmes, including M-Sport's partnership with Bentley Motorsport. The development of the Bentley Continental GT3 delivered Bentley's first victory on British soil in more than 80 years, before the programme went on to secure the 2017 Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup title.

 

Awarded an OBE in 2009 for services to motorsport, Malcolm's contribution to the industry continues to be recognised worldwide. In 2025, he was appointed as the FIA Deputy President for Sport, reflecting his wealth of experience and continued commitment to shaping the future of international motorsport while supporting its growth at every level.

FORD M-SPORT RALLY RAID TEAM PRINCIPAL

Matthew Wilson acts as the Ford M-Sport Rally Raid Team Principal, leading the company's strategic growth and its programmes in the FIA World Rally Raid Championship. The son of Founder and Owner Malcolm Wilson OBE, he continues the family legacy while driving the business into a new era of international motorsport.

A former FIA World Rally Championship driver with the Ford World Rally Team, Matthew secured multiple podium finishes before moving into leadership. Since joining M-Sport's senior team, he has expanded its global activities and strengthened its partnership with Ford Performance, leading development of the Ford Raptor T1+, which took a podium finish on its 2025 Dakar debut.

M-SPORT FORD WORLD RALLY TEAM PRINCIPAL

As Team Principal of the M-Sport Ford World Rally Team, Rich oversees the team's FIA World Rally Championship operations and leads its pursuit of success at the highest level of rallying. After joining M-Sport in 2006, Rich held several roles across customer sales and team management before being appointed Team Principal in 2019.

Known for his strategic leadership and strong relationships within the WRC paddock, Rich plays a key role in managing the team's drivers, engineers and partners while ensuring M-Sport continues to compete at the forefront of the World Rally Championship.

CHRISTOPHER
FLEMING-WILLIAMS

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Chris Fleming-Williams oversees the technical direction and engineering performance of M-Sport across all its programmes. With a wealth of experience in motorsport design, development and competition, Chris leads the engineering team in delivering innovative solutions and ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of performance engineering.

Responsible for overseeing the development of cutting-edge technology and the continuous evolution of M-Sport’s machinery, Chris combines technical expertise with a passion for precision, reliability and results. His leadership helps unite engineering talent across the business, transforming ideas and data into performance on the world stage.

PAUL
MCKNESPIEY

FINANCE DIRECTOR

Paul McKnespiey is Finance Director at M-Sport, overseeing the company's finance, compliance and governance across its global motorsport and engineering operations. Working closely with the senior leadership team, he plays a key role in supporting the continued growth and long-term success of the business.

Paul first joined M-Sport in 2001 from accountancy firm Ernst & Young, where he qualified as a chartered accountant and gained experience in corporate finance.   He later spent time in a variety of sectors including insurance, haulage & transportation and property management before returning to the company in 2018 to take on his current role.

M-SPORT POLAND DIRECTOR

Maciej Woda manages the day-to-day running of the M-Sport Poland outfit and its customer programmes, drawing on a lifelong passion for cars and motorsport. After his own rally career ended, he used his engineering degree to move to the technical side of the sport, joining M-Sport in 2004 as a mechanic and engine builder, before re-joining in 2006 as a customer support engine engineer.

In 2009 he was entrusted with founding M-Sport Poland, which he continues to lead. The Kraków operation took charge of the WRC Academy (now operating as the Junior World Rally Championship), developing young talent including Elfyn Evans, Craig Breen, and Sami Pajari. Today M-Sport Poland employs around 70 staff and produces the Fiesta-based Rally3, Rally4 and Rally5 cars.
