SITE MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE

ABOUT THE ROLE

​

M-Sport UK is at the forefront of world-class motorsport, and our facilities play a key role in supporting our ambitious programmes. We are looking for a proactive and skilled Site Maintenance Operative to join our team and help keep our site running smoothly, safely and efficiently.

​

This hands-on position is ideal for someone with a background in the building trades. You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of reactive and planned maintenance tasks across our site, ensuring high standards of workmanship and compliance at all times.

The role and responsibilities include:

​

• Perform a wide range of general maintenance and repair tasks.

• Carry out joinery tasks including basic carpentry, fitting, and repairs.

• Conduct basic plumbing duties such as fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, and minor installations.

• Painting and decorating to a high standard.

• Perform basic electrical work such as replacing sockets, light fittings, and fault finding.

• Ensure all work meet health and safety guidelines and site compliance standards.

• Collaborate with Site Manager, contractors and suppliers.

• Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

• Work independently and as part of a wider facilities team.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:

• Strong practical skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Understanding of electrical safety and ability to carry out minor works within regulations.

• Confident problem-solver with a proactive approach.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Own tools are beneficial but not essential.

 

Preferred Experience: ​

​

• Proven experience in building, plumbing, joinery, or a similar trade.

• Full UK drivers license is preferred but not essential.
