Fleet Maintenance / Tyre Technician - Required immediately to support our busy team.
Based at our team headquarters just outside Cockermouth, the role will consist of: Maintaining to a high standard our light vehicle and light trailer fleet. Fitting, stripping and cleaning of competition wheels and tyres. The successful applicant must also be able to maintain the large stock of wheels and tyres on site.
The Ideal Candidate Should:
Have previous experience in the motor trade repairing and maintaining vehicles.
Have previous tyre fitting experience.
Have meticulous attention to detail.
Offer a professional image at all times to clients, sponsors etc.
Previous motorsport experience would be an advantage.
Preferred but not essential C+E HGV license and CPC qualification / B+E Trailer license.
This physically demanding role requires a consistent level of performance and quality. The ideal candidate should have the ability to participate in multiple tasks alone and as part of a team. Previous experience working in a similar race or rally setting would be an advantage. This position would suit a self-motivated team player with an enthusiastic attitude. A flexible approach to working hours is required to help meet internal and external demands. There will be an opportunity for some event travel as and when it is required.
