ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re now looking to expand our Quality Control Department with the addition of a meticulous and dedicated Quality Inspector. This is a key role in ensuring that the components and assemblies we produce and procure meet the exacting standards demanded by world-class competition.

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for carrying out detailed inspections of precision-engineered components and assemblies, ensuring every part meets strict technical and quality requirements before being fitted to our competition cars or shipped to customers all over the world.

The role and responsibilities include:

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections of mechanical components.

  • Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings, CAD data, and technical documentation.

  • Use a range of inspection tools, including verniers, micrometres, gauges, and CMM equipment (manual or automated).

  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records for traceability and compliance.

  • Liaise with engineering, fabrication, and assembly teams to resolve quality issues quickly and effectively.

  • Identifying defects, logging and reporting these, and resolving them with suppliers.

  • Inspecting certificates from suppliers, auditing trails, and confirming certificates are correct.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:

  • Understanding of high-performance manufacturing standards and tolerances.

  • Hands-on experience with CMM (ideally both manual and programmable) and conventional inspection equipment.

  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Computer literate with strong MS Office skills.

  • Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads under pressure.

  • Excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving.

Preferred Experience:
