THE ROLE

​

As our company and projects expand, we have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Engine Design Engineer to be a part of our highly skilled and ever-growing Engine Design team.

​

As a Junior Engine Design Engineer, you will be involved and work on a wide range of exciting powertrain and competition car projects. You will work closely with our Senior Engine Design Engineer and Head of Engine Development to improve and confirm the design to achieve maximum performance.

​

The role responsibilities include:

​

  • Delivering innovative powertrain engineering solutions.

  • Design advanced models and drawings of a variety of engine components and assemblies.

  • Verification of designs through own analysis and CAE.

  • Ensuring the success of the design from inception through to production.

  • Creating real or CAD mock up installations.

  • Use theoretical knowledge of material science and mechanical engineering to resolve difficult problems.

 

 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

​

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.

​

You should be educated to BEng or MEng level in Motorsport, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, and have good knowledge of 3D CAD, preferably CATIA V5.

​

You should have the fundamental knowledge of the latest electrical system and materials is essential, and preferably in Automotive.

​

You should have meticulous attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving.

​

You should have excellent interpersonal, relationship and team building skills.

​

You should pride yourself on your attention to detail and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.

​

You should share our determination to deliver a winning performance for the very best results.

​​
