CHIEF RALLY RAID ENGINEER

ABOUT THE ROLE
​
With our business expanding, we have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Rally Raid Engineer to join our dynamic Rally Raid team. Reporting to the Technical Director, the Chief Rally Raid Engineer will provide strategic and tactical leadership and take responsibility for setting and implementing engineering and competitive strategy.
The role and responsibilities include:

Responsible for the test, development, reliability, homologation and race engineering teams.

Execution of all tests and events.

Initiate and develop creative and innovative engineering techniques.

Overseeing all aspects of build, set-up and execution.

Ensuring regulatory compliance of race vehicles on events.

Create and implement engineering strategy, policies, processes and procedures to deliver overall vehicle performance and reliability.

Evaluate issues and take actions to mitigate risks.

Preparation of technical documentations, taking ownership of the engineering policy, guidelines and any associated documents.

Prepare post event reports and bulletins to include event and performance analysis.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
​
We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:

Educated to either a MEng or BEng degree level in either Motorsport/Automotive Engineering and have a thorough understanding of motor vehicles and their systems.

Knowledge of the latest manufacturing techniques and materials is essential.

Experience and knowledge of data logging and analysis software and be confident in delivering a consistently high level of performance and quality in a time-sensitive environment.

Highly organised, and delivery focused, with a strong analytical approach and meticulous attention to detail.

Able to produce technical documents and always offering a professional image.

Excellent interpersonal, relationship and team building skills, and share our determination to deliver the very best results.
Preferred Experience:
​
-
At least 4 years’ experience working in a similar chassis engineering role in motorsport. This can include racing or rallying.
