THE ROLE

​

We have a new opportunity for a Transmissions Technician to be apart and strengthen our busy Transmissions team. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of high-performance transmission units, our Transmissions Technicians develop skills across a range of competition vehicles with the potential for international travel as part of our winning teams.    

​

The role responsibilities include:

​

• Working alongside our experienced technicians rebuilding top-specification transmissions units across all our projects. These include; Ford Puma, Fiesta, and Rally Raid.

• Servicing customer transmissions systems for a variety of high-performance competition vehicles.

• Working closely with our Transmissions Supervisor and Designers on technical issues identified and suggestions for improvement.

• Building Transmissions units from technical drawings and following the build procedures.

• Responsible to keep all build documents filled and up to date.

 

 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

​

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

​

You should be educated to technician level and have a thorough understanding of motor vehicles and their systems.

​

You should pride yourself on your attention to detail and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.

​

You should have excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving and implementing solutions with an analytical approach.

​

You should have experience in a similar mechanical/automotive background. Experience within motorsport is desirable but not essential.

​
