RELIABILITY ENGINEER

THE ROLE

 

We’re looking to appoint a Reliability Engineer to report to our Chief Rally Raid Engineer. The Reliability Engineer will have day-to-day responsibility for minimising the risk of mechanical failures, maximising the longevity of components for the T1+ Rally Raid cars and implementing necessary measures to record and then resolve issues.

The role and responsibilities include:

  • Reliability Assessment: Evaluate the reliability of various components in the car and highlight items for improvement.

  • Conducting Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes of components and develop strategies to mitigate effects.

  • Validation test planning and execution.

  • Creating and maintaining detailed record of all issues, resolution strategy and status.

  • Collaborating with the test team to define, design and implement rigorous testing plans to validate robustness of components and systems.

  • Reliability Reporting: Provide regular reports to the team management on the status and progress of reliability issues.

 

 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

You should be educated to degree level in motorsport or automotive engineering and have a minimum of two years’ experience within the industry.

You should have experience and knowledge of data collection and analysis software and be well organised and delivery focused.

You should pride yourself on your attention to detail, be self-organised and be capable of delivering to a high standard and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.

You should have excellent communication and relationship building skills and be confident producing professional technical documents and reports.
