We are looking for an experienced Recce Team Co-Ordinator to join our WRC team to lead the planning and implementation of the WRC crew’s pre-event recce.


The role involves:


  • Gather all necessary recce information for the event from the Supplementary Regulations and any additional relevant event bulletins.

  • Plan and create, in association with event co-drivers, pre-event reconnaissance schedules for all M-Sport World Rally Team cars, including day timings, interactive recce maps and car service points.

  • Liaise and communicate with other key team members including the Sporting Co-Ordinator, Driver Co-Ordinator and Team Manager to ensure that all parties are aware of recce movements.

  • Manage a small team of people to cover all key service points throughout the pre-event recce.

  • Service and maintain the recce cars at the end of each day and fully re-prep cars before the next event.

  • Control spares stock for recce cars both on and off event.


The ideal candidate should:


  • Be passionate and knowledgeable about motorsport and the WRC.

  • Have experience of working in motorsport logistics, or as a rally co-driver.

  • Be an experienced competition car mechanic.

  • Be capable of working without supervision in a dynamic environment.

  • Be able to work well under pressure, being able to quickly and calmly deal with any unforeseen circumstances or last minute travel changes.



Good problem solving and organisational skills as well as a very particular attention to detail are essential. Experience of a similar position in the WRC, or as a rally co-driver, would be advantageous. The role would suit a self-motivated team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. A flexible approach to working hours is required.
