VACANCIES | WORKSHOP | RALLY/RACE MECHANICS

At M-Sport, we are dedicated to supporting motorsport manufacturing and customer programmes spread across a variety of National and International rally and race series on a vast range of stages and circuits in the most acclaimed motorsport championships. Based at the historic Dovenby Hall Estate on the doorstep to the Lake District, our team of highly skilled Technicians and Engineers work closely together through each step, from design, to build and manufacturing, and then running our elite competition cars.

With a busy season underway, here at M-Sport Ltd we are looking for Rally/Race Mechanics to join our ever-growing global motorsport engineering company. This role includes workshop work and potential opportunities for worldwide travel to events.

Duties will include:

  • Building, setup & commissioning of our range of competition cars

  • Servicing and supporting cars on tests & events

  • To take over responsibility for preparation and modification of race and rally cars whilst in the factory and on events 

  • Requires flexibility in all aspects of vehicle assembly 

 

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have experience in a similar race or rally setting.

  • Have a thorough understanding of race / rally vehicles and their systems.

  • Have a strong analytical approach and a meticulous attention to detail

  • Always offer a professional image to clients, sponsors etc.

 

The role requires a consistently high level of performance and quality in a highly pressurised and time sensitive environment. The role would suit a self-motivated team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. A flexible approach to working hours is required.
