JUNIOR RALLY ENGINEER

THE ROLE

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Rally Engineer to be a part of our customer support engineering team, primarily focused on our Rally2 cars. 

The role responsibilities include:

  • Organising and issuing documentations prior to events and tests.

  • Planning and following weekly car builds in the workshop, from the beginning of the build until the customer handover and shakedowns.

  • Quality and build checks prior to events.

  • Identifying and solving technical issues.

  • Providing technical support on events, tests, and customer requests.

  • Researching and developing new systems and ideas.

  • Planning and scheduling tests and assisting with development programmes.

  • Assisting in the production of test plans, test reports, event preparation reports and post event reports.

 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You should be educated to either a BEng or MEng level in Motorsport Engineering/Motorsport Technology/Automotive Engineering.

You should have experience in data logging and software analysis.

You should be able to work proactively and be capable of balancing busy and varied workloads in a time-sensitive environment – confidently reacting to changing priorities and deadlines.

You should possess good interpersonal and social skills and work on your own initiative to make informed decisions. Whilst also being able to collaborate and work successfully with others.

You should have a meticulous attention to detail and practical approach to problem solving.
