DIGITAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

We’re looking to appoint an experienced and creative Digital Media Coordinator to produce and manage exciting and engaging content across our various platforms. The successful candidate will oversee the company’s social media strategy and activation planning, while producing fun and engaging content that captures the imagination of motorsport audiences around the world, covering all our motorsport programmes including WRC, Rally Raid and BTCC. If the latest social media trends are your thing and you know your 4:5 from your 9:16 and 1:1 then this could be the job for you.
The successful candidate will need to be available for the start of the 2024 season, with an immediate start date also an option for those available to do so. We also ask that all candidates include a link to their show reel / previous work in their Application Form and / or CV.
The role responsibilities include:
Developing and managing M-Sport UK’s social media strategy and activation planning.
Oversee and handle all content creation for M-Sport UK’s various motorsport programmes from a written concept through to development, execution, edit and delivery.
Understand the differences in content requirements for Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter and TikTok.
Create and continuously develop a content delivery strategy unique to each of M-Sport UK’s Social Media platforms.
Coordinate and plan major milestone activations such as livery reveals and product launches.
Proactively communicate with partners and key championships to stay aware of collaboration opportunities and leverage key posts to support channel growth.
Pitch one-off content plans that can serve to enhance partnerships and announcements.
Stay up to date with Social Media trends, features and technologies; and understand where they can be utilised to benefit M-Sport UK.
Maintain and organise a cloud-based digital media archive.
Report regularly on platform performance and monetisation figures.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking to appoint a creative mind with a passion for social media and content creation.
You should be a well-organised individual with exceptional attention to detail and a keen interest in motorsport, a particular interest in WRC and Rally-Raid would be advantageous.
You should be experienced and proficient in using the Adobe creative cloud, specifically: Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Aftereffects; and have strong conceptual and technical skills in photography, videography and storytelling.
You should be able to work proactively and be capable of balancing busy and varied workloads in a time-sensitive environment – confidently reacting to changing priorities and deadlines.
You should possess good interpersonal and social skills and be able to progress tasks efficiently and professionally whilst exercising tact and discretion; and be able to pitch and explain ideas clearly and effectively.
You should be able to work on your own initiative and make informed decisions, whilst also being able to collaborate and work successfully with others.
The role also requires a flexible approach to working hours, with extensive global travel and weekend working during events. Away from events this is a full time role based at M-Sport UK in Cumbria.
