Introduced in 2005, the GpN Fiesta ST forms the first 'step' on Ford's 'Ladder of Opportunity', with M-Sport having sold over 280 kits to 27 countries globally. The car shattered existing records in 2010 when Murat Bostanci took it to finish 20th overall in the WRC Rally of Turkey, the highest placed finish for the Fiesta ST.
When combined with the GpN Fiesta ST conversion kit from M-Sport, the car has 168 PS from the 2-litre Duratec ST engine. It provides all of the safety equipment and performance upgrades to enable the car to be competitive and reliable at any event around the world. 2008 witnessed the successful introduction of the E85 Biofuel model in an attempt to demonstrate how motorsport's carbon footprint can be reduced.
The competition parts for the Fiesta ST have been designed to be as reliable and as safe as possible, giving drivers the chance to push hard for success in total confidence, whilst remaining economical.
The specification is largely unchanged from 2006, thus enhancing the economic nature of the Fiesta SportingTrophy for which the car was designed.
