The Ford Fiesta Regional Rally Car (RRC) is a variant of the Ford Fiesta RS WRC – the rally car which claimed a podium clean sweep at its debut in the FIA World Rally Championship.
Both the Fiesta RRC and the Fiesta RS WRC share the same DNA but the RRC features a 30 mm engine restrictor and aerodynamic modifications to qualify for regional rally championship regulations. The car is supplied as a WRC variant with a kit of parts to enable it to be converted to WRC specification in six hours.
The Ford Fiesta RRC is built to comply with FIA regional rally regulations so customers will be eligible to compete in regional rallies across the globe.
The arrival of the Fiesta RRC means that together, Ford and M-Sport offer a complete ‘Ladder of Opportunity’ for rally competitors to graduate with Ford from national level right through to the top epsilons of the WRC.
