FERM Power Tools World Rally Team is one of the exciting new outfits to register as a WRC Team for 2011.

Working in partnership with M-Sport, the Dutch funded team will enter Dennis Kuipers in a Ford Fiesta RS WRC on 11 rounds of this year’s World Rally Championship.

Its status as a WRC Team means that it can chase manufacturers’ championship points, providing it tackles a minimum of seven events including two outside of Europe. Manufacturers’ points are awarded to the top 10 eligible finishers on each round of the WRC.

FERM Power Tools, which is based in Zwolle in the Netherlands, is a global producer of electronic equipment and tools. The company is using the WRC to help promote its brand and products throughout the world.
