M-Sport's driving force
It's a well-known truism that the strongest asset of any company is its people, and nowhere is that more true than at M-Sport. The Cumbrian firm now employs upwards of 200 people in a wide-ranging variety of roles, making it one of the most significant employers in the region. While M-Sport is engineering-led, there are also accountants, salespeople, logisticians, chefs and even a helicopter pilot working at Dovenby Hall. Of all the people employed, fewer than half travel out to the rallies - the rest are working away behind the scenes. The activity in the workshops and drawing offices is relentless throughout the year, with development an ongoing process and new projects constantly being evaluated. Although the people who work at M-Sport come from different countries and backgrounds, there is a family feeling within the team that helps everybody pull together.
